IMPORTANT NOTE TO CHROME USERS (12.13.14): I haven't been able to figure out why, but the SNL videos I've posted no longer seem to be playing in the Chrome browser. They appear to work fine in Internet Explorer and Firefox, and they worked in Chrome until about 36 hours ago, but they no longer seem to. I'm not the most tech savvy guy in the world, but I am looking into the problem and will try to correct it. For now, however, you might try an alternate browser if you have problems with Chrome. Sorry for the inconvenience.
Every Saturday from now through the end of the year, we're going to feature a holiday flashback from NBC's Saturday Night Live in honor of this festive season and SNL's 40th anniversary. This week, we've got a clip for mature audiences only — a preview of the fictitious off-Broadway show "You're a Rat Bastard, Charlie Brown," starring Al Pacino (Bill Hader) as Charlie Brown, Phillip Seymour Hoffman (Jason Sudeikis) as Pig Pen. and Larry David (Martin Short) as Linus. (Be sure to watch for the children's reactions at 0:51, 1:21 and 2:47 — priceless!)
Be sure to check back next Saturday for another holiday-themed clip from the vaults of Saturday Night Live, and watch SNL each Saturday at 11:30 pm on NBC.
